Hiromi wins Judges' Commendation Award at the AIA National Photography Competition

One of Hiromi's Inspiration images just won the Judges' Commendation Award through the AIA National Photography Competition!

Her photo titled "Insertion" of the Chatham Dockyard will be on display at the AIA national conference in Orlando at the end of this month, and will also be featured on the AIA national website. Woot!

You know it's a special house when the littlest member of the family is inspired to pick up a hammer and get busy. Sucharitha captured this photo at a recent jobsite meeting at our Yerba Santa Avenue Residence. So cute!

Rough electrical and plumbing are in place, and soon the drywall will go up. More updates soon!

We are working with many clients that want universal design features - layout, details, and materials that allow aging and disabled homeowners to continue to live at home - and we are honored to be featured in a Houzz article that highlights this growing priority. While the 12th Street Residence homeowners did not request universal design, the rubber flooring  in their kitchen does provide a low-maintenance, slip-resistance surface that works well for everyone living there.
